Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Embedded Systems Engineer to join our growing team. In this key role, you’ll focus on product development, testing, and customer support. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware and software products through rigorous testing and troubleshooting. You’ll also provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 support for complex customer issues, working closely with our technical teams to resolve challenges and drive continuous improvement. With a minimum of 2 years’ experience in embedded systems engineering, you will bridge the gap between product development and customer satisfaction, helping ensure the success of product deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Validation and Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of hardware and software to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Integration and Systems Testing: Ensure seamless integration between hardware devices and software platforms.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on testing procedures, configurations, and product updates.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support (Tier-2 & Tier-3) for escalated issues, working closely with the support team to troubleshoot hardware/firmware problems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with software, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful product releases and issue resolution.
- Automation and Tool Development: Build and manage automation tools to improve product testing and reporting.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to development teams to enhance product quality and performance.
Essential Criteria
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years in embedded systems engineering, with a strong understanding of both hardware and software.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Embedded C/C++, Python, SQL, FreeRTOS, STM32/nRF, interfaces (UART, I2C, GPIO, CAN), Git, JTAG, and debugging tools.
- Product Testing: Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues through comprehensive product testing.
- Automation: Familiarity with developing or utilizing automation tools to streamline workflows.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to resolve complex technical issues.
