Fuel Level Sensor (Hydrostatic)
INCYT Stream: With INCYT Stream you pay a small monthly fee to have this sensor on your farm instead of having to pay upfront hardware costs and buy equipment ‘outright’. INCYT’s Stream fees include the usual monthly data subscription fees, so there’s nothing more to pay! With INCYT Stream we own the equipment and you Stream (Lease) it for a monthly fee, giving you access to unmatched support and benefits such as:
- INCYT Protect, your hardware cover for accidents, thefts, and damage outside of warranty
- INCYT Evolve, giving you the opportunity to upgrade to the latest INCYT technology as it’s developed, so you don’t have to worry about outdated technology.
- Access to our full product range
- Local inventory in most Australian Regions
- Best-in-class on-farm support
Outright: With an outright purchase of this sensor you own the hardware. The only thing left to pay is the monthly data fee. Included in this purchase is a 6-months ‘standard’ data plan, giving you sampling and data transmission every hour, and up to 5 years battery life for your blue node.
OVERVIEW
INCYT’s submersible hydrostatic fuel level sensor is used for monitoring the level of diesel tanks. Fuel is one of the most important commodities for many business such as farms and transport companies. Running out of diesel creates costly delays and many other issues throughout the operation. With INCYT’s hydrostatic fuel level sensor you now have an accurate way to monitor all your fuel tanks and receive alerts when tanks reach a set level. You no longer need to drive across your operation to manually check fuel levels and can even go as far as giving your nominated fuel supplier access to your tank level data in the INCYT cockpit.
HOW IT WORKS
INCYT’s hydrostatic fuel level sensor utilises INCYT’s XR network, so you’re not restricted to only using this in areas where you’ve got a cellphone signal - as long as your fuel tank is within reach of a INCYT base station, you’re able to use the hydrostatic fuel level sensor! The hydrostatic fuel level sensor gets paired up with an INCYT blue node, giving you up to 8 (!) years of battery life!
The installation kit includes a hydrostatic fuel level sensor and blue node. In your diesel fuel tank simply use an existing inlet that’s at least 30mm in diameter and lower the sensor so that it is approximately 15cm from the bottom. Sensor can be secured in place with the p-clips and hardware that are supplied as part of this kit. The blue node is then installed on top of the tank and connected to the hydrostatic fuel level sensor.
The diesel level data is available to you through the INCYT cockpit, which allows you to share this data with other users on your INCYT account as well. You are able to see the current fuel tank level as well as level changes over the past days and weeks. Alarms can be set for when a specific quantity (tank capacity in %, volume in litres, or depth in metres) has been reached, for when usage over a specified time frame exceeds a set amount, or when the level increases by a set amount (tank is getting refilled). The reporting frequency of the fuel level sensor is once every hour.
