OVERVIEW

INCYT’s XR network Base Station is used in many different industries, and is specifically optimised for agricultural applications. With the base station you create INCYT’s XR Network as your own on-farm network to help collect data from INCYT’s range of sensing equipment. Through the XR network, data from INCYT’s sensors is sent through to the INCYT dashboard, enabling you to deploy sensors even in remote areas where 4G and 5G mobile networks don’t reach.

HOW IT WORKS

INCYT’s XR network base station can be solar powered or mains powered, and have either standard or extreme range options - depending on your needs. As part of your introduction process with INCYT, the team will conduct a free virtual mapping session with you, prior to purchase and installation. During this virtual mapping session we will establish which base station is best suited to your operation, and where it needs to be placed on your farm in order to create optimum coverage.

Once you’ve received your INCYT base station you can opt to either have someone install it for you or install it yourself. It’s as simple as mounting it in the desired location, whether that is on a pole, shed, silo, or somewhere else, and connecting it to the power source.

The INCYT base station is milled out of solid aluminium, making it very robust and guaranteeing that it withstands the challenges of Australia’s harsh environment. Where most on-farm telemetry equipment deteriorates over-time due to water ingress, INCYT’s base stations are hermetically closed and equipped with a GORE-TEX valve, ensuring that there is never any pressure differential within the base station when the ambient temperature drops rapidly, which is the #1 cause of water ingress (pulling in moisture when the pressure drops rapidly) in telemetry equipment of other brands.

Simply install the base station in the desired location you worked out together with your INCYT representative during your farm planning session.
