Water Level Sensor (Hydrostatic)
OVERVIEW
INCYT’s submersible hydrostatic water level sensor is mainly used for monitoring water tank levels, cut can be used for other liquids as well; both corrosive and non-corrosive. Water is probably the most important commodity for many businesses such as farms, off-grid accomodation operators and many more. Running out of water can be costly and dangerous! With INCYT’s hydrostatic water level sensor you now have an accurate way to monitor all your water tanks and receive alerts when tanks reach a set level. You no longer need to drive across your operation to manually check water levels and can share this data with anyone you like through the INCYT cockpit.
HOW IT WORKS
INCYT’s hydrostatic water level sensor utilises INCYT’s XR network, so you’re not restricted to only using this in areas where you’ve got a cellphone signal - as long as your water tank is within reach of a INCYT base station, you’re able to use the hydrostatic water level sensor! The hydrostatic water level sensor gets paired up with an INCYT blue node, giving you up to 8 (!) years of battery life!
The installation kit includes a hydrostatic water level sensor and blue node. In your water tank simply use or drill a hole that’s at least 30mm in diameter and insert, lower the sensor so that it is approximately 15cm from the bottom. Sensor can be secured in place with the p-clips and hardware that are supplied as part of this kit. The blue node is then installed on top of the tank and connected to the hydrostatic water level sensor.
The water level data is available to you through the INCYT cockpit, which allows you to share this data with other users on your INCYT account as well. You are able to see the current fuel tank level as well as level changes over the past days and weeks. Alarms can be set for when a specific quantity (tank capacity in %, volume in litres, or depth in metres) has been reached, for when usage over a specified time frame exceeds a set amount, or when the level increases by a set amount (tank is getting refilled). The reporting frequency of the fuel level sensor is once every hour.
