Release Notes - December 2024
Welcome to the December 2024 release notes, for V2.2.6 of our app. This is the final release of 2024 for INCYT and the team worked hard to end this year on a high! From custom map pins to setting alarms for visual monitoring, a brand new water presence app and much more - you can read all about it below. As always, if you have any questions about these release notes or ideas on what you think we should work on next, make sure to get in touch with our support team!
Custom Map Pins
You are already used to seeing all your INCYT devices in your cockpit map view, but now you can add custom pins, called ‘Point of Interest’, to your map as well. You can customise the colour, icon and name for each pin as desired. For those INCYT users that have shared account access with third parties and want to make sure 3rd parties can find a specific location or maybe just show them where an access gate is, this is the perfect way to achieve this very quickly.
If you decide to add a INCYT sensor to this point of interest down the track, it’s easy to convert the custom map pin to an actual application and add the sensor to this pin.
Set alarms for visual monitoring
For INCYT customers that already have their cameras installed, you can now set custom alarms for these cameras. You are able to configure alarms to trigger anytime of the day or only during certain hours, and you can get the alerts sent to either via email or SMS to yourself or anyone else that needs to receive this notification. Alarms are sent for those parameters you have selected as sensor triggers in the camera settings: motion, sound, temperature or external trigger sensor (or a combination of these).
Water Presence Monitoring
With INCYT’s water presence sensors now in use in a multitude of different scenarios such as irrigation progress tracking, and no longer just for livestock trough monitoring, we have created a new application for water presence monitoring. This new application allows you to quickly onboard a new water presence sensor, whatever scenario you might be using this water presence for, and trigger an alarm for water being either present or not present, and during which times of the day you want these alarms to trigger.
