Release Notes - November 2024
Welcome to the November 2024 release notes, for V2.2.3 of our app! This month our development team released a new ‘multiple camera view’ widget, we enhanced a range of map functionalities and we’ve made it easier to make changes to user roles within an organisation on the INCYT platform. We’ve also made a number of minor improvements such as enabling portrait view for full screen widgets. As always, if you have any questions about these release notes or ideas on what you think we should work on next, make sure to get in touch with our support team!
Visual Monitoring Fleet Widget
We only launched the INCYT camera a couple of months ago, but it is quickly becoming one of our more popular products. In fact it’s so popular that many of our clients now have between 5 and 10 cameras in order to be able to visually monitor every part of their operation. In order to make it easier to view all cameras on the same dashboard overview, we’ve now launched a ‘Fleet Visual Monitoring Fleet’ widget, which allows you to watch your whole ‘fleet’ of cameras at the same time.
If you have multiple cameras active on your property and would like to improve the dashboard on which you view the images, just let us know and we’ll help you set this widget up so that it is optimised for you. For now this is only available on the web browser, not on your phone app yet.
User roles
We wanted to make it easier for users to enter or exit an organisation and to transfer ownership of an organisation to another user. With the work that we’ve done here you no longer need to contact our support team to add a new user to an organisation, have a user leave an organisation, or transfer ownership of an organisation to another user.
With an increasing number of devices used by multiple organisations at the same time (neighbours sharing a weather station, farmers accessing tank level data for a liquid fertiliser tank they lease, etc.) shifting ownership of assets has become a more common scenario and this platform update ensures this a seamless process.
Map View Enhancements
With an increasing number of businesses monitoring a large number of tanks through INCYT, the need to easily distinguish between the different tanks on the map view arose. You are now able to select a custom pin icon for each individual tank and you’re also able to give them different colours. This will make it easier for you to quickly find the right tank in your map view and click on it for more details.
You now also have a new search icon available in the top left-hand corner of the map view that makes it easier to search for a specific device - very handy for those organisations with a large number of devices! You can search by location, application name, zone, etc. No more scouring the map for that one device hidden between hundreds of others!
