Welcome to the November 2024 release notes, for V2.2.3 of our app! This month our development team released a new ‘multiple camera view’ widget, we enhanced a range of map functionalities and we’ve made it easier to make changes to user roles within an organisation on the INCYT platform. We’ve also made a number of minor improvements such as enabling portrait view for full screen widgets.
Release Notes - July 2024
Welcome to the July 2024 release notes, for V2.1.7 of our app! We’ve had another busy month in which we’ve made many significant and incremental improvements to the INCYT Cockpit, all geared towards giving you the best possible experience. As always, if you have any questions about these release notes or ideas on what you think we should work on next, make sure to get in touch with our support team!
Diagnostics updates
For our trackers such as Antares and Polaris, as well as our sensor range and networking equipment, we’ve added more diagnostics options and status warnings. You’ll now see in-app notifications in situations such as:* Battery is low / needs replacing* Device needs cleaning* Device is working out side of temperature spec* Firmware update required* Network issuesOr any other range of diagnostic warnings that are important to you as a user. Each diagnostic message also tells you what you should be doing, or points you to an online resource such as a video that you can look at for more information. You can configure these alarms for each device and toggle specific alarms on or off, ensuring that you always get prompted with the right information when you need it.
Manage widget settings across devices
After you’ve updated the app to this latest version, you are now able to manage your widget settings within the app across all your devices at once. So, if you update the preferred zoom level of a chart for example, you now have the option to either just apply this zoom level to the chart that you’re looking at, or you can auto-apply this across all widgets of the same type across your organisation or fleet. In the ‘settings’ section for each widget, you’ll now see a box that you can tick to ‘Apply settings to all widgets in the current fleet’.
Another improvement that we’ve made to the zoom level of charts is that you can now choose between a ‘zoomed in’ and ‘full screen’ view for each widget chart. The ‘zoomed in’ view allows you to see small changes in a particular part of your data while the ‘full screen’, or target scale as we call it, shows you the entire data range.
‘Stale Data Alerts’
We understand how important it is to know that you’re acting on current data, and not data that is older than it should be, because it hasn’t updated for any reason. In the INCYT app, organisation admins can now go to ‘settings’ to find the ‘Stale Data Alerts’ setting which they can turn on for the whole organisation. This will trigger a warning on a widget when the last update of the data exceeds a set age threshold, so that you know that this data is older than it should be. These alerts are set at organisation level, meaning that if you turn these alerts on, everyone in your organisation on the INCYT app will receive them.
Other updates
A number of other, smaller, updates to the app have been made as well, all focused on improving your user experience within the app. It’s now become a lot quicker and easier to go to a different organisation within the app (for those with multiple organisations within their view), simply by pressing the first letter of the organisation’s name on your keyboard you’ll automatically find the right organisation. It has also become a lot easier to select and change default time ranges as well as to create custom time range selections or create a favourite time range. When you have a look at your widgets in the INCYT app, you’ll soon see the improvements we’ve made here!
